Job Description

We're actively seeking a Virtual School Social Worker to provide crucial social and emotional support to students within our virtual learning programs. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with educators, families, and community resources to address student needs and enhance overall well-being.

Key responsibilities:

- Conducting both individual and group counseling sessions.
- Designing and implementing interventions aimed at fostering students' social and emotional growth.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop success plans.
- Offering crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate records.

Key requirements:

- A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- State licensure or certification as a School Social Worker, where applicable.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in navigating and thriving within a virtual environment.
- Sound understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and crisis intervention strategies.
- Possession of a 310 certificate.
