Tele-SLP Needed for a VA School District

A school district in Virginia is now in need of a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist. This Speech Therapist would work full time remote as a contractor for the school district. VocoVision is helping facilitate the provision of virtual services through its complete online platform - providing the technical training required for a successful assignment. Through VocoVision, teletherapy is not just an alternative to onsite services - it's better! Teletherapy allows students to have access to vital services even though they might be homebound, located in rural areas, or their school is understaffed. Although virtual experience is preferred for this school-based position, if you have minimum 2 years of experience in an onsite school-based SLP position and are considering teleservices full time - see more below!

Requirements:

VA SLP License
Pediatrics experience
ASHA CCC
Masters Degree
Must provide your own liability insurance
Must be able to pass a basic technical screening
- Must have access to stable Wi-Fi and an updated computer
- Chromebooks and iPads are NOT acceptable computers for the tech screening or VocoVision software.

Experience:

At least 2 years experience working as an SLP onsite in a public school setting.
Experience working with students aged K-12
Experience with a range of degrees of disability
