Two Special Education Teacher positions available for upcoming school year near Waldport OR

Sunbelt Staffing is looking to hire two special education teachers for the upcoming school year near the Waldport OR area.

Job Details:

• Full-Time
• 8 am to 4 pm
• 37.5 hours per week
• K-2 and 9th through 12th
• Special Education Teacher working with grades K-2 is a resource room teacher with students on IEP’s who spend most of their day in general education classrooms
• Special Education Teacher working with grades 9th-12th is an SLC Teacher with students who have higher needs – moderate needs

Job Responsibilities:

• Study students' skills and determine their educational needs.
• Apply general lessons to meet students' needs.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Plan activities that are specific to each student's abilities.
• Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one.

Job Requirements:

• Special Education Teacher license for OR
