Sunbelt is looking to hire an X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist) to fill needs at a facility in Columbus, Ohio. Two year experience in the field is preferred. Must have updated resume and two professional references ready.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or a related field.
Certification: Possess relevant certifications, such as Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
State Licensure: Hold a valid state license to practice as an X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist.
Key Responsibilities:
X-Ray Imaging: Perform a variety of X-ray procedures, including general radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography, following established protocols and safety standards.
Patient Interaction: Communicate with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper calibration and troubleshooting any technical issues as they arise.
Image Quality: Ensure the production of high-quality X-ray images by positioning patients correctly, adjusting equipment settings, and using radiation protection measures.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including images, clinical information, and patient history.
