Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a travel RN for the Emergency Department on night shift. The ideal candidate will have two years plus of ER experience and possess the required certifications. This is a flexible travel contract assignment with a 36 or 48 hour work week, and a contract length of 8-26 weeks. Blocked scheduling considered. RTO of 5 days or less is allowed, but must make up the week on the back end. Holiday RTO is approved based on availability.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
Document patient care and observations accurately and timely
Communicate with interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care
Provide education to patients and families regarding their conditions and treatments
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Graduate of a state-approved School of Nursing
Possess a current RN licensure with the OK State Board of Nursing or Compact
Demonstrated skill in human relations and communications is required
Must have demonstrated clinical expertise in their area of responsibility
