Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is looking to help a facility out in Atlanta, GA. We are looking for an experienced MRI Tech with at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Locals Accepted! 

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
  • BLS (AHA)- Preferred 
  • Must have experience with Siemens 1.5 and 3T

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform MRI Procedures:

    • Conduct MRI scans on patients following established protocols and procedures.
    • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process.
  2. Equipment Operation:

    • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
    • Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to obtain optimal imaging results.
  3. Patient Interaction:

    • Communicate with patients to explain the procedure, address concerns, and obtain relevant medical history.
    • Position and prepare patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and cooperation.
  4. Image Quality Assurance:

    • Monitor and review images to ensure clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
    • Make adjustments to imaging parameters as necessary to obtain the best possible images.
