Travel LPN Rural Area in West Virginia All Shifts

Sunbelt is seeing a Long Term Care LPN to start immediately in a rural area of Terra Alta, West Virginia. The LPN must be able to complete a 6 month contract and be available for overtime. The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.


  • Directs and assists with resident, family/significant other education and notifies family on condition change
  • Long-term care nurses also often assist patients with the tasks of their daily lives, including feeding, dressing, using the toilet and bathing
  • Assists with formulating a plan of care for residents and provides nursing care to residents according to physician orders and regulations
  • Assists geriatric patients in Long Term Care (LTC)
  • To provide direct patient care, including monitoring and recording vital signs, administering medication and performing therapeutic treatments such as massage and range of motion exercises

Education and Qualifications:

  • West Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required or compact license
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
  • One year experience in Long Term Care

Employment Type: Local or Travel, 26 Week Contract with possibility of extension

Work Hours: 40 Hours: Must be Flexible for All Shifts
