Job Description

Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Jackson, TN

Schedule: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00), Shifts may vary between 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours, starting at 7:30 am or 8:00 am, including Saturdays. On-call rotation required for every other Sunday.

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team in Jackson, TN. As an Interventional Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of interventional procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.


  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures under the direction of physicians.
  • Set up and prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, providing technical support and imaging guidance.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and response during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure the proper use of protective equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.


  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician.
  • Experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Proficiency in operating Phillips equipment for interventional procedures.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including Saturdays and on-call rotation for Sundays.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
  • Additional certifications related to Interventional Radiology.
  • Familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
