Position: Travel Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Lawrence, MA

Job Type: Travel/Contract

Duration: 26 weeks (with the possibility of extension)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week 
Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures under the guidance of a radiologist, including angiograms, catheterizations, and biopsies.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Operate and maintain specialized radiographic and imaging equipment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions during procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of results.
• Adhere to established protocols and safety measures to maintain a sterile and controlled environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology.
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting interventional radiology equipment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to interventional radiology procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and travel as required.
