Job Description

Sunbelt is looking to hire a CT Technologist to fill needs at a facility in Norwich, New York. Two year experience in the field is preferred. Must have updated resume and two professional references ready. 


  1. Education:

    • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
    • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification with additional certification in CT preferred.
  2. Licensure:

    • State licensure or certification as required by the state of practice.
  3. Experience:

    • Previous experience as a CT technologist preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
  4. Skills:

    • Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related technology.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.


  1. Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and addressing any concerns or questions.

  2. CT Imaging: Perform a variety of CT scans, including routine and advanced exams, adhering to imaging protocols and ensuring optimal image quality.

  3. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and safety. Make adjustments as necessary to obtain the best images.

  4. Patient Positioning: Position patients correctly for CT scans, taking into account the specific requirements of each procedure.

  5. Image Analysis: Analyze CT images for quality and completeness, ensuring all necessary views and measurements are obtained.
