Job Description

Sunbelt is looking to hire a CT Technologist to fill needs at a facility in Norwich, New York. Two year experience in the field is preferred. Must have updated resume and two professional references ready.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification with additional certification in CT preferred.
Licensure:
- State licensure or certification as required by the state of practice.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a CT technologist preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and addressing any concerns or questions.
CT Imaging: Perform a variety of CT scans, including routine and advanced exams, adhering to imaging protocols and ensuring optimal image quality.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and safety. Make adjustments as necessary to obtain the best images.
Patient Positioning: Position patients correctly for CT scans, taking into account the specific requirements of each procedure.
Image Analysis: Analyze CT images for quality and completeness, ensuring all necessary views and measurements are obtained.
