Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Psych RN for a 13-week contract in Syracuse, NY. Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of patients while exploring the vibrant city of Syracuse.


  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients with mental health disorders.
  • Conduct initial patient assessments, including mental health evaluations and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and treatment goals.
  • Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness and potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.


  • New York RN License in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an adult psych unit
  • EMR knowledge 
  • BLS

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 13 weeks.
  • Start Date: 6/23
  • Shift: 12-hour shifts (days/evenings).
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week.
