Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Psych RN for a 13-week contract in Syracuse, NY. Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of patients while exploring the vibrant city of Syracuse.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients with mental health disorders.
Conduct initial patient assessments, including mental health evaluations and risk assessments.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and treatment goals.
Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness and potential side effects.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

New York RN License in good standing
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an adult psych unit
EMR knowledge
BLS

Contract Details:

Duration: 13 weeks.
Start Date: 6/23
Shift: 12-hour shifts (days/evenings).
Schedule: 36 hours per week.
