Job Description

Sunbelt is now interviewing Certified Surgical Techs for a contract assignment in Columbus, Ohio. Must have two years experience in the field. Please have updated resume and two professional references ready.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program.
Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from a recognized credentialing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Surgical Preparation: Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and properly sterilized for the procedure.
Sterilization: Sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to strict protocols and maintaining infection control standards.
Assist Surgical Team: Assist surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other necessary items as requested.
Patient Safety: Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, strictly adhering to aseptic techniques, and ensuring patient safety at all times.
