Job Description

A contract position is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to provide therapy services within a school setting. This role involves supporting students who require physical therapy to enhance their functional mobility, participation, and overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students physical capabilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address student goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding physical therapy strategies.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials.
  • Proven experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within a school-based setting.
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and physical therapy interventions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple caseloads.
