Provide expert Speech-Language Pathology services focused on evaluating and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient screenings and evaluations to develop tailored plans of care.
- Utilize standardized assessments and adjust treatments based on patient progress and outcomes.
- Deliver counseling and consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Document all services accurately in electronic records, ensuring adherence to regulatory and clinical standards.
- Participate actively in care conferences, utilization reviews, and facility training sessions.
- Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Student Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Maintain active licensure and adhere to professional codes of conduct and ethics.
Qualifications:
- Active ASHA certification and State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic interventions for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Skilled in documentation and compliance with clinical regulations.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience supervising CFY or student clinicians preferred.
