Schedule/Hours:
- Travel-based assignment (specific hours will be confirmed with interview)
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Recent experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies for success
- Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
