Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Recent experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies for success
  • Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
