A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with acute care experience is needed for a 13-week contract based in Dunnellon, FL. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to acute care patients.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and timely.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Active Florida SLP license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload efficiently.

Schedule & Details:

• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Expected hours: 40 per week.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Orientation start dates available: March 23 or April 6.
• Credentialing required by the Wednesday prior to start date.
