A pediatric outpatient opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide expert therapeutic services in a hospital-based setting. This contract position requires a compassionate and skilled clinician to support childrens communication development at a specialized rehabilitation center. The role is designed for professionals who bring at least one year of experience and hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Minnesota.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Active SLP license in the state of Minnesota
- Experience working with pediatric outpatient populations preferred
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment
- Must reside at least 25 miles from the facility location
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapeutic interventions for pediatric patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with clinical protocols
- Participate in family education and support to enhance therapeutic outcomes
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Five days per week, 8-hour shifts
