Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions with patients to improve mobility, strength, and balance
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for orthopedic and post-operative patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate closely with physical therapists and rehabilitation teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding therapy goals and home exercises
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical therapy assisting, with 2 years preferred
- Demonstrated competency with orthopedic cases, young athletes, post-operative patients, and balance/ falls management
- Ability to work effectively in a 1:1 patient-to-therapist setting
- Licensure status flexible: pending licenses accepted
- First-time travel therapists welcome
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekends or on-call responsibilities
