Job Description

A physical therapy professional opportunity is now available in White Sulphur Springs, WV, offering the chance to deliver compassionate care in a home health setting. This contract role focuses on providing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments aligned with physician orders, helping patients regain their independence and improve functionality.

Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekends or on-call duties required. This schedule allows for a well-balanced professional and personal life while making a meaningful difference in patients recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations using appropriate tools and assessments.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Regularly assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and care teams.
  • Recommend and integrate special adaptive equipment to enhance patient rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid West Virginia PT license or Compact license accepted.
  • Experience in homecare settings strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with OASIS documentation and exercise programming.
  • Rehab expertise and knowledge of HCHB programs would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
