A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced physical therapist focused on hospital-based therapy. This contract position centers on evaluating and enhancing patients mobility and independence through tailored treatment plans in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support regaining mobility and independence with daily activities such as standing, walking, and stair climbing.
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of physical therapy services in accordance with facility policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with skilled nursing and long-term care standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid and unrestricted physical therapy license in the state of employment.
  • Completion of educational requirements necessary for licensure as a physical therapist.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and long-term care guidelines.
  • Valid drivers license in the state of employment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide therapy services effectively.
