Job Description

Deliver skilled physical therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a well-regarded medical center in Lakewood, NM. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and offers a structured Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with occasional Saturday shifts, providing a consistent and manageable workweek for a dedicated therapist.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy treatments to patients in hospital inpatient and outpatient clinic settings.
  • Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Active New Mexico physical therapy licensure or pending licensure approved at submission.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

  • MondayThursday: 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
  • One Saturday per month required at the hospital location.
