Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments to hospitalized patients with various acute and inpatient conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health record systems for documentation and coordination.
  • Float between hospital departments or other nearby sites within a 40-mile radius as required by patient needs and facility demands.
  • Maintain current BLS certification and comply with hospital licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years acute or inpatient hospital experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records or equivalent systems.
  • Availability to work weekends, including 6 weekend days over a 13-week period, and holidays as needed.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different clinical environments within the geographic area.

Schedule:

  • Weekend shifts (6 weekend days during the 13-week contract).
  • Holiday shifts on an as-needed basis.
