Youll be exposed to a broad patient populationprimarily orthopedic with some neurological casesgaining valuable experience in diverse therapy techniques, individualized care planning, and up-to-date rehabilitation approaches. With a 1:1 patient ratio and evaluation-focused scheduling (one patient every 45 minutes), youll have the time and support to develop meaningful therapeutic interventions and build lasting clinical relationships. Working alongside leaders in patient-centered care will expand your professional network and sharpen your clinical acumen.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Fridays close early, with the option to make up hours MondayThursday

Key Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelors degree required
  • Active Texas LPT license or eligibility via compact
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required
  • Experience with orthopedic and neurorehabilitation patients is highly valuable

Major Responsibilities:

  • Independently evaluate all assigned patient types
  • Gather data from charts and collaborative care teams, discussing patient care with physicians as needed
  • Recognize additional therapy needs and recommend further testing or interventions appropriately
  • Formulate and reassess treatment goals, documenting patient progress in compliance with department standards
  • Educate patients and families, recommending appropriate therapeutic equipment
