A skilled Physical Therapist with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is needed for a contract role in Carlsbad, NM. This 13-week position is based in an outpatient clinic connected to a hospital, offering an engaging opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Providing physical therapy services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Participating in patient education and discharge planning
- Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience, with both inpatient and outpatient exposure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid New Mexico state licensure, or pending licensure approved with submission
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- One Saturday per month working onsite
