Job Description
Provide expert physical therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, multi-trauma, and post-spine surgery care. This role involves conducting thorough evaluations and delivering targeted treatments to support patient recovery and improve functional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Treat patients with neurological conditions in an inpatient rehab environment
- Document all patient interactions and progress using Cerner/Onechart electronic medical records
- Manage a caseload of 4-6 patients daily, with a billing expectation of 24 units per day
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Adhere to a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating weekends
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of employment
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, especially with neurological cases
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, preferably Cerner/Onechart
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet productivity standards and documentation requirements
