Job Description
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services across a variety of settings in a vibrant healthcare environment. This travel position offers the unique opportunity to deliver evaluations, treatments, and develop individualized plans alongside a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The service areas include a Critical Access Hospital with acute inpatient and swing bed care, outpatient therapy within a dedicated therapy building, home health therapy, and long-term care and custodial care (LTCC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough occupational therapy evaluations and administer effective treatments tailored to patient needs.
- Collaborate closely with COTA to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver occupational therapy services in multiple settings: critical access hospital, outpatient therapy, home health, and LTCC.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to optimize patient care outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing.
- Proven experience providing OT services in hospital or similar healthcare settings.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage varied clinical environments.
- Travel experience or willingness to relocate temporarily.
