A contracting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatrics, focused on outpatient care. This role involves providing therapeutic services to pediatric patients presenting with a variety of diagnoses, requiring expertise in acute care and outpatient clinical settings.
Responsibilities include evaluating and treating pediatric patients, developing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes. Experience with electronic medical records systems, particularly EPIC, is preferred to ensure efficient documentation and communication.
Schedule and hours for this position are Monday through Friday, with shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours per day (typically 7:30 AM to no later than 6:00 PM), totaling approximately 40 hours per week. The start date is ASAP, with flexibility to begin on any Monday.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with pediatric outpatient experience
- Skilled in acute care and outpatient clinical environments
- Familiarity with pediatric diagnoses and therapeutic interventions
- Experience using EPIC electronic medical records is a strong advantage
- Must reside at least 25 miles from the job location, indicating flexibility to travel or temporarily relocate
