Job Description

This opportunity is for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient therapy services in a well-equipped clinical setting. The role focuses on delivering specialized care to pediatric patients with a diverse range of diagnoses, requiring expertise in both acute care and outpatient pediatrics. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday day schedule, allowing for a balanced workweek.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services to pediatric outpatients
  • Manage a caseload with varied pediatric diagnoses, ensuring effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Utilize clinical skills in both acute care and outpatient settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation, preferably using EPIC electronic medical records

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in pediatric outpatient therapy required
  • Background in acute care settings preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system is a plus
  • Ability to work a 40-hour workweek with shifts starting no earlier than 7:30 a.m. and ending by 6 p.m.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, daytime shifts
  • 8-10 hour shifts; typically 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (shift times range from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

This contract position is ideally suited for therapists whose primary residence is located at least 25 miles away from the facility.
