Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience evaluating and treating patients across the lifespan within a hospital environment.
- Strong understanding of safe patient transfer techniques and body mechanics.
- Ability to design, implement, and adapt individualized plans of care.
- Effective communicator, skilled in educating patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and outcome-based care.
- Experience supervising or collaborating with support personnel desirable.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, utilizing reliable assessment methods.
- Develop and continually adjust personalized care plans, integrating measurable goals and planned outcomes.
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy, adapting treatment as patient response dictates.
