An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support a healthcare facility in Julesburg, CO. This contract position offers an 8-week duration with flexible scheduling options including 4-10 hour shifts or 5-8 hour shifts, accommodating your preferred work style within the department hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week is provided.
This role involves working across multiple care settings including inpatient/swing beds, outpatient services, and an extended care unit. The facility maintains a small inpatient capacity along with a well-established extended care and outpatient clinic. Documentation is performed using the Athena electronic medical records system, ensuring streamlined patient care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to patients in inpatient, outpatient, and extended care settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards using EMR.
- Participate in pre-screening and interview processes for new patients as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA or AOTE-accredited program.
- Current Colorado license as an Occupational Therapist Registered.
- Minimum of 2 years of OT experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
