A healthcare opportunity awaits for an experienced Occupational Therapist in Iliff, Colorado. This contract assignment offers a chance to support patients in a variety of care settings including inpatient/swing beds, outpatient clinic, and extended care units. Designed to fit those who need flexibility, the position accommodates schedules of 4-10 hour or 5-8 hour shifts within department hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., guaranteeing at least 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and extended care units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and treat patients effectively
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in the Athena EMR system
- Ensure compliance with departmental protocols and state regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA or AOTE accredited program
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) license on file
- Minimum of 2 years OT clinical experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
