Position Summary

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our innovative remote team. This role is crucial for providing specialized education and support to students with visual impairments, ensuring they thrive in a virtual learning environment.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver Tailored Instruction: Create and implement engaging virtual lessons customized for visually impaired students.
  • Collaborate on IEPs: Work with families and educators to develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Utilize Resources: Incorporate a comprehensive toolkit to enhance learning and accessibility in your lessons.
  • Assess and Adapt: Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Encourage Independence: Help students develop self-advocacy skills and promote their independence.

Qualifications
