Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) Opportunity in New York.

Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district near Liverpool, New York, to locate a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH).This itinerant position involves providing direct academic instruction to K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing. You will play a vital role in supporting their educational progress and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct academic instruction tailored to the needs of students with hearing impairments.
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure student success.

Job Requirements:

  • New York State certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
  • Valid NYS K-12 Teaching Certification.
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is preferred.
