Teacher for the Visually Impaired near Walterboro, SC – Part-Time Job
Sunbelt Staffing is searching for a part-time TVI in the Walterboro, SC area to work the upcoming school year. The job is 20 hours per week. Candidates should be comfortable working with students K-12.

 TVI job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
•    Providing instruction to students with visual impairment
•    Teaching academic subjects to students with visual impairment
•    Evaluating students’ skills to determine best program of learning
•    Planning curriculum and lesson plans utilizing an array of learning devices and strategies
•    Consulting with parents, administrators, teachers, and staff
•    Developing, writing, and implementing IEPs
•    Maintaining records and student data
•    Conducting classroom observations and evaluations
•    Completing clearly written and comprehensive reports to provide recommendations
•    Assisting in the interpretation of criteria for determination of eligibility
•    Other duties as assigned
