Job Title: Part-Time Summer School Special Education Teacher
Location: Franklin, NH
Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary
Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Part-Time Summer School Special Education Teacher to join our team at Sunbelt in Franklin, NH. This is a temporary position for the duration of our summer school program. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work closely with students who have diverse learning needs and provide them with a supportive and inclusive educational experience.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Create engaging and effective lesson plans that align with students' IEP goals and objectives.
Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
Provide small group or one-on-one instruction as required to support student learning.
Monitor student progress, assess their strengths and areas for improvement, and provide ongoing feedback.
Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to student learning.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification or license in Special Education in the state of New Hampshire.
Prior experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
Strong understanding of various learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and other special needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
