A local school district is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist in the Newcastle, WA area to join our team of educators and support staff. As a school-based SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping our students develop their communication skills and overcome speech and language challenges.
Description:
You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-language delays among our students. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student. Your expertise will play a significant role in enhancing our students' language skills, articulation, fluency, and social communication abilities.
Details:
Full time hours with a 30 minute break during the day, along with a PreK-5th caseload. This opening is 8 hours a day with a total of 40 hours a week and starts on August 24th with a end date of June 18th 2024. You are only responsible for one school at one location.
Qualifications:
You will need a active WA SLP State License, Master's degree in Speech Pathology, and a valid Drivers License to apply.
