About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and qualified School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. In this rewarding role, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and addressing speech, language, and social communication needs of students across various grade levels . You will collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to create individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based strategies to support student success in the classroom and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech-language needs.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to address articulation, fluency, language development, social communication, and/or swallowing difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers, general and special education specialists, related service providers, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting student needs.
  • Document treatment progress and maintain accurate and detailed student records.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Active Brookside Village, TX Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment and intervention.
  • Experience with developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educators from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to student-centered care and creating a positive learning environment.
