Job Description

Telehealth Contract Position Now Available - New York SLP

A school district in New York is now looking for a contractor for a speech teletherapy position. This position is fully facilitated through VocoVision's teletherapy platform. Through VocoVision, teletherapists have access to everything needed to transition to a fully remote Speech-Language Pathologist position - including evaluations, therapy tools, scheduling tools, and support teams. The nature of a teletherapy position allows health and special education services to be delivered to students who are in dire need - located in rural areas or otherwise suffering from onsite staffing issues. If you have at least 2 years of experience working as an SLP in an onsite, public school setting, please see more information below!

Requirements:

  • NY SLP License
  • NY teaching credential
  • Pediatrics experience
  • ASHA CCC
  • Master's Degree
  • Must provide your own liability insurance
  • Must pass a basic technical screening
  • Must have access to stable Wi-Fi and an updated computer
  • Chromebooks and iPads are NOT acceptable computers for the tech screening or VocoVision software.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience working as an SLP onsite in a public school setting.
  • Experience working with students aged K-12
  • Experience with a range of degrees of disability
