Job Description

We are working with a school district near Hope Mills, North Carolina to meet their immediate need for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
Job Details:

  • This full time contract position extends through the remainder of the current school year, and offers strong long term potential
  • Caseloads consist of general and special education students at all grade levels, with the majority being at the elementary school level
  • Most students receiving services have mild to moderate articulation, fluency, and expressive/receptive language delays and disorders.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • providing direct services one-on-one and in small groups
    • effectively engaging students in the therapeutic process
    • monitoring and recording progress
    • maintaining communication with supervising SLP, classroom teachers, and related service providers
  • Requirements:
    • active North Carolina SLP Assistant certification (or confirmed eligibility to obtain)
    • recent school-based experience is preferred, although we are open to a new grad SLP Assistant with relevant experience 

We are looking for a strong team player with the ability to independently deliver the services specified in student treatment plans.
