Special Education Teacher Role - ASAP + 23/24 School Year – Brookfield, WI
Sunbelt is seeking a Special Education Teacher to fill an open position within a Brookfield, WI area school. Work with a school district that supports its teachers and students. This district needs someone to hop in ASAP, finish out the rest of this school year and for the full 2023-2024 school year!

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Special Education or related fields
  • Must have an active WI Special Education Teacher License
  • Previous Special Education Teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Pass a Drug screening and background check.

Job Specifics:

  • Full-time: 37.5hrs/wk, Monday – Friday
  • Full school year, 2023-2024
  • Work with a 9th – 12th grade caseload. Multiple positions available.
  • Standard mild to moderate needs
  • Further caseload details will be discussed in interview and placement will be based off experience.
  • Prepare student educational plans in consultation with parents and IEP team members.
  • Provide differentiation of instruction, both for individual and small groups.
  • Act as coordinator of IEP implementation with general education staff
  • Monitor student progress, participate in review and revision of IEP, as appropriate.
