Special Education Teacher Position – Gilbert, AZ
Sunbelt is seeking a Special Education Teacher to fill an open role within a Gilbert, AZ area school district. This school is looking for someone can start at the beginning of the 23/24 school year and assist their student reach their educational goals throughout the full year. After successful completion of the 23/24 school year, candidates will have an opportunity to return for future caseloads based on performance. Work with a school district that supports its teachers!


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or related fields
  • Must have an active AZ SPED Teacher Certificate.
  • Must have AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.
  • Previous Special Education Teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug screen and background check.

Job specifics:

  • Full-time: 37.5hrs/wk, Monday – Friday
  • Conduct assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations of students to identify learning issues.
  • Assist students and teaching staff in implementing IEPs and behavior modification plans.
  • Coordinate with administrators and other staff.
  • K - 8, Multiple Resource and Self-Contained caseloads are available, what do you prefer?
