Special Education Teacher Opportunity – Tinley Park, IL
Sunbelt is seeking a Special Education School Teacher to fill an open role within a Tinley Park, IL area school district. This school is looking for someone can start at the beginning of the 23/24 school year and assist their student reach their educational goals throughout the full year. Work with a school district that supports its teachers!

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or related fields
  • Must have an active IL LBS1/PEL Teacher Certificate.
  • Previous Special Education Teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug screen and background check.

Job specifics:

  • Full-time: 37.5hrs/wk, Monday – Friday
  • Conduct assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations of students to identify learning issues.
  • Participate in the development of IEPs
  • Assist students and teaching staff in implementing IEPs and behavior modification plans.
  • Coordinate with administrators and other staff.
  • K - 8, Resource and Self-Contained. Multiple caseloads available, what is your preferred caseload?
