Special Education Teacher Opening Near Piedmont, CA
Sunbelt is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher near Piedmont, CA. As a special education teacher, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs, including those with learning disabilities, emotional or behavioral disorders, physical disabilities, and developmental delays. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and other educators to ensure that each student receives the resources and accommodations they need to succeed.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to provide a comprehensive educational program for students.
Assess students' academic and developmental needs and adjust instruction accordingly.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and discuss strategies for support.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Adhere to all school policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to special education.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in special education or a related field
Current CA license in Special education
