Special Education Teacher Needed – Aspen Park, CO
Sunbelt is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to fill an open role within a Aspen Park, CO area school district. This supportive district is looking for someone that can start at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year and assist their students throughout the full year. After successful completion of the 23/24 school year, candidates will have an opportunity to return for future caseloads based on performance.


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or related fields
  • Must have an active CO Special Education teaching certificate.
  • Must have CO CDE certification or willing to obtain one.
  • Previous Special Education Teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug screen and background check.

Job specifics:

  • Full-time: 37.5hrs/wk, Monday – Friday
  • Conduct assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations of students to identify learning issues.
  • Assist students and teaching staff in implementing IEPs and behavior modification plans.
  • Coordinate with administrators and other staff.
  • Work with a small caseload that has moderate to severe needs. More details will be discussed in an interview and will be placed depending on experience and skill set.
