Qualifications

IL SPED certification
IL Professional Educator License (PEL)
Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) Endorsement
Previous experience preferred

Job Details

Full time - 37.5 hours a week
5-10 students in a Jr. High classroom
Multi-needs students
Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, Etc.
Mild to Moderate Disabilities

Responsibilities

Participate in all steps of the IEP process.
Manage and provide instructional guidance.
Work closely with teachers and district professionals to ensure successful program.
Communicate regularly to parents of children with varying disabilities on progress and updates.
