(SLPA or SLP) Speech Language Pathology Assistant (K-8) W/ Benefits- Saratoga, CA Area
 

Key Responsibilities:

For SLP:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Design and implement personalized therapy plans for students
  • Provide direct therapy services to address speech and language challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support holistic student development
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for student progress

For SLPA:

  • Assist the SLP in delivering therapy sessions, following the established treatment plans
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on specific communication goals
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing updates to the SLP
  • Help prepare and adapt materials for therapy sessions to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Work closely with the SLP, teachers, and families to ensure comprehensive student support

Qualifications:

  • For SLP: Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • For SLPA: Certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred for both roles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about helping students reach their full communication potential
