Job Description

Sunbelt is going to hire an SLP-CCC for this school in the Berkeley, California area. This position will be for the entire upcoming school year, and there is the option of either being full time OR part time. The full time caseload would involve providing services between 2 schools for students in High School. If desired, it would be an option to have reduced hours and serve mainly as a supervisor for the SLPAs. In the part time option, the SLP would mainly complete paperwork, assessments, and attend IEPs as well as supervise the SLPAs. 

Candidates must have California SLP license 

 

Speech Language Pathologist Job Skills:

  • Examine and plan services
  • Provide services for students with speech disorders
  • Communicate with parents and staff
  • Instruct speech handicapped students in the development of desirable speech habits
  • Develop IEPs and maintain records
  • Attend meetings
  • Evaluate and provide individual student progress
