Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is currently working with a school district that is actively looking for a California Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in San Mateo County, CA for the 2024-2025 school year. Interviews are currently being scheduled, so please apply below if interested!

Opening: Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location:  San Mateo County, CA 
Contract: August 2024 - December 2024

Job Details:

  • Shared caseload with another BCBA across the district
  • Provide general consultation support to teachers, staff, paraeducators, and parents
  • Conduct FBAs and  SCIA assessments
  • Develop BIPS
  • Update behavior goals
  • Train teachers and paraeducators on student BIP
  • Create/provide social stories, visuals to support student success within the classroom
  • Support and/or run Social Groups/Lunch Bunch Groups

  • Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Current certification as a California Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
