Second Grade Teacher opportunity – Harrisville, MI
A school district in the Harrisville, MI area is seeking a Second Grade Teacher to fill an open position. This position will start at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year and will fulfill the full school year. Work with a school district that supports its teachers and students. This district needs someone who can hop in as soon as possible and lead their students with quality aids and services.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master’s degree in general education or related fields
Must have a valid MI Teaching credential in the applicable subject.
Previous Teaching experience preferred but not required.
Pass a Drug screening and background check.

Job Specifics:

Full-time, Monday – Friday 40hrs/wk
Caseload: 2^nd grade classroom with approximately 20 students.
All subjects; with a co-taught Science partner
Instructional Literacy coach and Math coach for support.
2 behavioral therapists and a full-time social worker is in the building each day.
Further caseload details will be discussed in interview and placement will be based off experience.
