Responsibilities:
As a Digital Teacher of the Visually Impaired at VocoVision, your responsibilities will include:
Providing Virtual Instruction: Delivering engaging and effective instruction to students through virtual platforms.
Assessment: Conducting assessments to evaluate students' visual impairments and educational needs.
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Collaborating with school teams to develop and implement IEPs that address students' unique learning requirements.
Adaptation and Modification: Adapting and modifying curriculum materials to ensure accessibility for visually impaired students.
Progress Monitoring: Tracking and reporting on students' progress and making necessary adjustments to support their learning goals.
Parent and Teacher Communication: Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
Professional Development: Staying current with best practices and advancements in the field of education for the visually impaired.
